Tomasz Domanski is a Polish pianist, song accompanist and performer of chamber music, currently living in Lucerne, Switzerland.

He began playing the piano at the age of 7. He graduated from the Chopin University of Music in Warsaw (piano class of Agnieszka Przemyk-Bryła and Alicja Paleta-Bugaj) and continued his education at the Bern University of the Arts (piano class of Tomasz Herbut) and at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (song accompaniment class of Edward Rushton). 

He was awarded first prize in European Chamber Music Competition in Moncalieri, Italy. He is also the second prize winner in the International Music Competition in Łomianki, Poland and fourth as well as the special prize winner for the performance of Trio by Romuald Twardowski in Turniej w Trzech Odsłonach in Bydgoszcz, Poland. In September 2021 he received an award in 13e Concours international de la mélodie in Gordes (France) and Prix de la Ville de Gordes in a duo with a baritone Felix Gygli.

As an accompanist, he participated in many competitions and festivals in Poland, Czech Republic, France, Italy and Switzerland. He collaborates with Swiss Opera Studio in Biel, Free Opera Company in Zurich, the Lucerne Theatre and Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. He won scholarships to participate in International Summer Academy in Reichenau an der Rax, Austria, as well as Academy of the Heures Romantiques, Duo for Voice and Piano in Château-Renault, France, LiedBasel Academy and Festival in Basel, Switzerland and Excellenz Labor Oper in Weikersheim, Germany. In 2020 he received a scholarship from the Polish Ministry of Culture for the online project Songs of pandemic (duo with tenor Aleksander Rewinski).

Tomasz participated in masterclasses and lessons conducted by Andrzej Jasiński, Zbigniew Raubo, Markus Hadulla, Mitsuko Shirai, Wolfgang Rieger, Dorothea Röschmann, Christian Immler, Susan Manoff, Helmut Deutsch, Enrico Maria Cacciari, Fausto Nardi and Hedwig Fassbender. 

Between September 2020 and July 2022 he worked as a vocal coach at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. In piano and vocal duos, he regularly collaborates with young singers and international award winners, among others: Aleksandra Żakiewicz (Poland), Felix Gygli (Switzerland), Hongyu Chen (China). Tomasz Domanski is a co-founder of Chopin nad Bugiem – annual open-air concerts of Chopin music that since 2010 have taken place in Mielnik, Poland.
